Most people today think of the area of Southgate as "Pennard"
and indeed the names have become almost interchangeable. Pennard church,
in fact, stands alone on the Western edge of Kittle, just up the road
from Parkmill. Despite the confusion with names, this area is very popular
with walkers. The views from Pennard Castle and the area around Three
Cliffs are stunning. More information and photos of this area can be
found on the Pennard
Burrows and Three
Cliffs links.
