Well Cottage, Llangennith, Gower

Well Cottage is a charming traditional Gower cottage located on the village green in the picturesque village of llangennith, opposite the local Norman church.
This 2 bed roomed cottage is ideal for families or couples & can sleep up to 4 people, plus a cot for a baby, in two double bedrooms. The enclosed rear garden has views over to rhossilli bay, which was recently voted one of the top 50 beaches in the world.
Well Cottage is only a five minute drive or a invigorating 30 minute walk from this beautiful coast.

The Cottage
You enter the cottage down steps through the porch to the front room, containing a sofa and armchairs in front of an open fire, and dining table for four. The cottage has a television and DVD player, for your use.
Two steps from the front room lead to the kitchen and bathroom. The light and airy kitchen looks over the back garden and has an electric cooker and oven, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer.
Opposite the kitchen is the downstairs bathroom, with bath, overhead shower, toilet and sink.
Stairs up from the front room lead to two cosy double bedrooms, overlooking the village green, with the low deep set windows typical of Gower cottages. Each bedroom contains a double bed and wardrobes. The larger bedroom can house a travel cot, which can be provided on request. There is a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs leading to the bedrooms.

Outside the cottage
As you come out the back door, steps take you to the contained back garden with views off to the sea and cliffs of Rhossilli Bay. The garden’s front and rear are fully enclosed and contain paved areas and cockle shells, a traditional material used to cover paths in Gower.
Guests at the cottage are welcome to use the outdoor table, chairs and BBQ to spend a restful evening watching the most romantic sunset in Britain (Sunday Times).

Other information
The cottage is located close to the local village pub, which has an outdoor seating area and serves food throughout the day. Nearby Hillend allows easy access to the beach and has a camp shop and a Café serving good quality food.
High chairs and travel cots can be provided upon request. We are happy to arrange for some essential items such as milk, tea and coffee to be at the cottage on your arrival. Please contact us for more details.

Things to do:
The local area provides plenty for the active to do– walking, surfing, climbing, horse-riding, kite-surfing and sailing are a short list of activities on offer. The less energetic can enjoy lazying on the beach, reading, painting or relaxing in the local pubs.
The City of Swansea and the pretty Village of Mumbles are only half hour drive away offering cinemas, theaters and many excellent restaurants.
