Local knowledge puts the age of The Old Court House at approximately 300 years, and yes it was at one time a Court House! It is made of local Gower stone and retains many of its original beautiful features. These include inglenook fireplace, original oak beamed ceiling downstairs, flagstones in kitchen etc. Nevertheless it is warm, cosy with oil central heating and all other modern amenities.

| Gower is an AONB - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Internationally important. The Whitford Burrows nature reserve adjacent to The Old Court House is also an SSSI - site of special scientific interest - birds, butterflies , flowers, ice age forest, a cast iron lighthouse, ship wrecks and of course its sand dunes and a long (over one mile) sandy beach, make it an unforgettable experience. |
