Plum Cottage is thought to have been the servants' quarters of the main house, College, which is on an historic site. St. Cenydd's church was a Priory which is believed to have been established by Gower's own St Cenydd in the sixth century. The monks lived and were taught in the College.

Plum Cottage is right in the heart of the villlage, close to PJ's surf shop and the good food of the King's Head, and yet is very secluded.

The main room downstairs is the large light and airy, traditional farmhouse kitchen which has been reorganised to provide a comfortable living room as well as a kitchen/dining area. There is a Rayburn (oil fired) and a gas cooker, microwave and larder fridge. There is a flat screen TV which takes CD's and DVD's.

Upstairs there is a pretty double bedroom, a bathroom with bath, separate WC and a small bedroom with 3 ft wide bunk beds.

Bed linen and bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

All the rooms have lovely unspoilt rural views.

Outside there is a private terrace and herb garden with a wonderful view of Rhossili Down.  Guests are welcome to use the large garden area by the church as well.

When you reach the front of the King's Head pub, in the centre of Llangennith, indicate left and slow right down. Turn left at the bus stop and go down the track directly opposite the pub. You will pass the Surf shop on your left and a few yards further on you will come to the green iron gate of College House and Plum Cottage. Drive down and park by the house.
