Driftwood is situated in the small village of Llanddewi and is surrounded by open fields and breathtaking skies.  Off the beaten track, the property offers a unique glimpse of rural Gower but beaches, villages and local attractions are all within easy reach by car or on foot.  Even in the height of summer there is an air of peace here. 

With open plan living space, the property sleeps up to 4 with a sofabed in the main living area and a mezzanine area above which can be used as an alternative separate sleeping area.  The mezzanine is carpeted and has wonderful views across the fields towards Cefn Bryn. (Please note, there is a step ladder to the mezzanine).

There is a small kitchen which is equipped with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster.  The dining area has a pine table and seating for four. The living area offers a sofa and two large armchairs with side table.  The bathroom offers a large electric shower, toilet and washbasin.   Bed linen and hand towels are provided but not beach or bath towels.  There is a TV for the DVD player and a radio CD. There are electric radiators for heating, if needed.


Driftwood offers an opportunity to get it away from it all and visitors often comment on the peacefulness of the setting which we have tried to preserve.  Books, games and DVDs are available for your use. There are a number of restaurants and pubs within a few minutes drive.


Overlooking the garden, the property is adjacent to the owners’ house but has its own small patio at the back of the property with table and chairs.  Off street parking is available for one car and there is some use of the garden at the front of the house by arrangement. 

Available to rent on a weekly basis, we are also able to offer short breaks. Please contact us for details and availability. We ask that guests do not arrive before 3pm and vacate the property by 11am.  The property is strictly non smoking. A welcome hamper can be provided on request for a small cost.  As we live next door, we will be on hand if you need any assistance.

Please note there is a bond of £100 payable on arrival in cash which will be returned to you at the end of your stay subject to breakages.
