property is ideal for families wishing to make the most of the nearby
beaches and glorious countryside whilst enjoying the special ambience
of this superb modern beach home.
Only 5 minutes away from the beach and surrounded by open countryside,
hidden coves and spectacular scenery, this four bedroomed house
has everything you need for that perfect holiday. |
The property can sleep up to ten people in five bedrooms;
four doubles (one of which is en suite), one single room and a futon
that can sleep an additional person in the single room. Bed linen
is provided.
The large fitted kitchen has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave,
toaster, kettle, cafetiere, an electric cooker and gas grill and
hob. The adjoining utility room has a washing machine. There are
two high chairs, two travel cots and a stair gate available on request,
however a charge will be made for these items.and
tumble dryer.

Also on the ground floor is a wc, a dining room that
seats eight and a large living room with TV, DVD player and video.
There is a duel fuel stove in the living room which can burn either
coal or logs, but there is also central heating throughout the house.
The master bedroom is en suite with shower, hand basin, wc and
electric shaver point. This room also benefits from a small balcony,
with a table and two chairs - perfect for morning coffee.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower head,
a wash basin, wc and shaver point. Guests are asked to bring their
own towels.
The garden is enclosed with a raised decking area to the rear of
the house which is extremely private. There is ample parking and
the attached double garage provides secure storage for bicycles
or surf boards etc.

Renowned as the surf capital of Wales, the unspoilt
village of Llangennith
has magic and charm enough for children and parents alike. Ideal
for teenagers with a taste for high-octane surf as well as for those
with a slower pace of life in mind.
The village boasts a pub, ‘The King’s Head’ and
PJ’s famous surf shop. There is no shop in the village, but
provisions and newspapers can be bought from the 'Hill End Holiday
Village' site five minutes drive away.
There are some garages and small local supermarkets with a wider
range of products to be found within a 10-15 minute drive away.
The city of Swansea is only a 20 minute drive away and has all
the amenities you expect a modern city to have. The picturesque
seaside village of Mumbles,
with its lovely waterfront and glorious views over Swansea
Bay is again only 20 minutes away.
There are two beaches within a 5 min drive or 15 min walk. Both
charge a nominal fee of £2 for car parking. Bathing at Llangennith
beach is extremely safe whilst at Broughton
some extra care should be taken.
The lovely beaches of South Gower, Oxwich
and Port Eynon
are only some 15-20 minutes away. The natural wonder of Worms
Head and Rhossili are about the same distance away. |
How to find us:
The village is at the end of the Gower Peninsula some 25 minutes
from the M4. To reach Llangennith take M4 Westbound and exit junction
47. Take 2nd exit left and 2nd exit again at next roundabout. At
next roundabout again take 2nd exit left. Travel down the hill and
at next roundabout take 1st left, keeping Harvester restaurant on
right travel underneath the railway bridge. At traffic lights turn
right. Thereafter just keep going straight, following road through
villages of Penclawdd, Crofty, Llanrhidian and Burry Green until
you finally enter the village. Take first right after pub into Walters
Lane and keep going for some 50 yards until you arrive in Atlantic
Haven. No. 6 will be directly in front of you at the furthest end
of the close. |
