St David's Barn is a recently completed award winning barn conversion, renovated to a high standard. Situated in the heart of the Gower Peninsula, with south facing views of rolling fields and with easy access to some enjoyable walks around the area. At least 5 of the scenic Gower beaches are just 5 minutes drive away. The barn is an ideal base for a fantastic family holiday to remember. Lovingly renovated and completed by the current owners, the barn has been built with natural local materials and is ideally equipped for a family stay. The barn benefits from under floor heating to keep you cosy in the winter but also keeps you cool in the summer.

The living area is very spacious incorporating an area for relaxing with 2 large sofas seating 7, DVD, SKY, large Plasma TV, Music cupboard with a library of DVDs and CDs and a Multi Fuel Log burner nestled in the large fireplace. The other area of this open plan room has a large dining table and chairs which can seat 8 comfortably and a traditional oak dresser. Sit back relax and enjoy. From this room you have a large beamed opening to the kitchen.

If you like entertaining, you'll be very happy cheffing here. With fully fitted Neff appliances, and a second table seating 6 cooking can be a social experience. Appliances include 2 ovens, microwave, dishwasher, 5 ring Smeg hob, 4 slice toaster and kettle. The kitchen is complete with every thing you would expect to have at home and more.

Further to the mezzanine area, upstairs the barn has one double bedroom with feature shutter and DVD player, one king master bedroom and a single room with second pull out bed and DVD player. Three of the bedrooms can accommodate a cot if required. The master bedroom has dual aspect windows and king size leather sleigh bed. All the rooms have solid beech floor boards made from local wood. Separate WC. There is a stair gate at the top of the ash staircase.

There is a local shop which is a 5 minute bike ride away that sells groceries, petrol and fresh bread daily.  Don't forget you can make the most of the Tesco Home Delivery service.

Outside, the barn has several areas for you to enjoy; a decked sun trap area to have a BBQ in, a relaxing swing seat under the trees, a terrace area and the front garden with it's pretty curving flower beds and south facing western red cedar decking leading straight out from the lounge. During your stay feel free to use the produce from the well stocked organic vegetable beds. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement.
