The photo above shows Port Eynon Bay with the village of Horton in the background.

Port Eynon Bay is one of the most popular bays on Gower. It is easily accessible, no long walks. The car park is situated about a minute from the beach. The bay and village is steeped in history, so take a minute to read the signs that are dotted about. There is always some beach, even at high tide.
N.B. The shops are only open during the summer season.

From Port Eynon Bay you can walk East to The Cove, Horton or West to Salthouse Mere.
