Mewslade bay is probably one of the prettiest bays on Gower. The short walk to the beach, leads down a wooded path and then through the valley which is owned by the National Trust. The path is not suitable for pushchairs and can get muddy in places during the Winter. There is no beach at high tide, but it is very pleasant to watch the sea crashing against the rocks. The bay is popular with surfers. At very low tide it is possible to walk around to Fall Bay from Mewslade.

The cliff path leads East to Butterslade and West to Fall Bay.
