Langland Bay is very popular with families and surfers alike as it is
largely unspoilt and has easy access from the promenade.
Long rows of little beach huts that are hired privately from the Council
each year line the front and are always in great demand.
Langland gets its name from "Long Land" which denotes the old
field strip system used in parts of Gower.
Cliff walks to the east, on a paved path take you to Bracelet
and Limeslade. The unmade path leading west, past the Langland
Bay Golf Course leads to Caswell.
Whichever direction you choose to go, you can be assured of some dramatic
landscapes.
The path that runs along the coastline between Langland and Caswell is hardsurfaced, but very uneven in patches. Bicycles are not allowed to use the path.
