Gower lends itself to a large range of water sports, such as surfing, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and water skiing. There is also plenty of opportunity for a leisurely swim or a little paddle in the shallows. Most of the beaches do NOT have a lifeguard, so don't forget to stay safe and check the tides. Some people are fortunate enough to have their own equipment, but for those who don't or would like a 'taster' session, there are a number of companies listed below that can provide you with more information.
